Our Network officially concluded its activities in 2018 but the members continue to collaborate and plot activities and research together. We secured Follow-On Funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) in 2019 to extend our work, focussing on the ancestral and contemporary connections between the Raizal-Creole peoples of the San Andrés Archipelago, the Caribbean coast in Nicaragua, and the diaspora in mainland Colombia. In 2023 we are pleased to announce that our sister project, a bilingual media platform drawing on sixty interviews from across the maretorio sea territory is now live!
